Save You Time by Streamlining Your Inventory Management
My system of inventory management prior to Artwork Archive was in-studio journaling. If you can, just imagine me flipping through pages about my lunch meetings, sales, and the materials I needed to purchase just to find where I sold a painting two months ago!
While “romantic,” this method was not sustainable for my growth. Artwork Archive came into my life like, “let’s get it together sis!” And sis did!
I decided to use Artwork Archive to manage my inventory because my previous system (if it could be called that) became more cumbersome with each new body of work. What started as a simple inventory list was then partially transferred to a spreadsheet.
Even at my most organized, I had difficulty finding entries and was never able to tie an artwork’s entry to its portfolio photography without a lot of tedious file manipulation.
I use Artwork Archive almost every day—usually to look up information about a work, enter a new piece, generate and print a Certificate of Authenticity, add a contact, or enter an art-related revenue or expense.
Since the Public Profile is integrated into my website, I’m able to keep my website up-to-date without doing double entry.

Track Exhibition Dates, Locations, and Wherever in the World Your Artwork May be.
At one point in my career, I was participating in a variety of shows in different places. I found it time-consuming to navigate my database through different spreadsheets, calendars, and folders in order to keep track of what was being sent where and when, and what was due back.
So, I gave Artwork Archive a try. It was a game-changer.
The Locations Feature helps me track all of my work across different galleries, hotels, restaurants, fairs, etc. For instance, when I have an online sale or a proposal is accepted for a specific piece, I know exactly where it is and when it’s due back.
Artwork Archive tracks all information about my work, including the locations where the works can be found.
With Artwork Archive, I now have detailed records of where my artwork goes, when, how much it sells for, and to whom.

Provide Detailed and Secure Data Storage for Your Artwork (not to mention other aspects of your art career)
I was impressed with how much information Artwork Archive allowed to be entered. There are things I need to keep track of that impact the value of my work: how much it sold for, how many places it’s shown, and who collected it, for example.
It has organized and changed the way I keep track of my work.
I struggled to keep track of everything and was wasting too much time trying to organize my business. I worried about the security of my data and the lack of interconnection. With Artwork Archive, I’m able to store virtually all data and photos of my artwork, my contacts, my art-related finances, and more.
There’s peace of mind knowing exactly where my work is, having a detailed record of which collections it’s in, and having a seamless integration with my website.

Make Your Art Business More Accessible
I need to be able to access my information on the fly—sometimes while standing with a collector in the middle of an art fair. I also feel safer knowing that my precious data is in the cloud, not just on my computer.
I use it on my mobile to reference pricing and details and to update my collections. It also gives me a birdseye view to see what I’ve created so far, organize them into the collections I have created, and see what has sold.
Having the work so readily available helps when companies want to hire me to do commercial work. It also helps when gallery owners and museums are interested in my work, and they can easily see what I have available and make their own selections

Elevate Your Professionalism
I can send consignment reports and invoices to clients via the portal. These documents not only show an image of the work but display all the artwork details with costs including commissions and tax. It is very professional and intuitive to use
Artwork Archive helps me offer a highly professional interface to my collectors and dealers and keeps me organized behind the scenes. I couldn’t live without it at this point!
I remember what a pain it was to make price lists and print labels before I switched over to Artwork Archive. Those are a breeze now. There are also moments when I am given hours, not days, to respond to an opportunity and I would never be able to turn around those requests for available artwork in time if I couldn’t simply export a PDF from Artwork Archive.
