CALL TO ARTISTS

Art Box Project AC: Artists Paint City Utility Boxes

The Atlantic City Arts Commission invites Atlantic City artists to transform dated traffic control utility boxes into interesting works of art.

Project Overview

The Art Box Project AC, organised by the Atlantic City Arts Commission wishes to recognise and celebrate local artists. Artists are asked to paint utility boxes with an original design in order to enhance the streetscape, bringing art out into open spaces, and communicate to the viewer a vibrant, inclusive and diverse community. The finished works of art will contribute to the vitality and attractiveness of the city’s evolving streetscape and deter graffiti.
